Tom Garland Bio:
Most comedians start in clean, safe comedy clubs. Tom Garland came up in dive bars, grungy rock venues and rooms where you either control the chaos or get consumed by it.
Best known for co-starring with WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam in the movie Headstrong, Garland got his start in Iowa City during his six-year run producing and hosting, “Tom Garland’s Catacombs of Comedy,” at the original Iowa City Yacht Club.
Since then, his tour history includes stints with members of WWE, Trailer Park Boys, Broken Lizard, CKY and MTV’s Jackass. He can be heard locally every Tuesday morning as a regular guest on the Rock 108 Morning Show and has been seen on Reelz Channel, Tubi and Amazon Prime.
His one-of-a-kind act lives somewhere between precision and impulse; tightly blended material colliding with razor-sharp crowd work, all exploding into real-time improv. It’s funny, fast, unpredictable and deliberately different every night.
Ed Burroughs Bio:
Ed Burroughs gives a whole new meaning to the phrase; “Hire the handicapped, they are fun to watch!” Having used comedy to get through the darkest times of his life, Ed has been hitting the road to share the medicine, laughter.
A dedicated up-and-comer, Ed’s brutal self-awareness and open honesty is jaw-dropping. The ease with which he delivers earns affection for his audience.
You never know what to expect with Ed, but he always seems to give you what you need.
Oliver Scmhmitz Bio:
“Oliver Schmitz, the self-proclaimed “Comedic Dragon,” is a stand-up comedian from Cedar Falls, Iowa. Oliver has appeared in venues around the Midwest. He is known for surprisingly clever one-liners, mixed with stories of his failed love-life.”
